On June 5, 2022 we celebrated our 5-Year Proofpoint-A-Versary, and to commemorate this special milestone, we created CINCO—a fun spin to a classic card game—complete with a unique marketing twist!

Featuring a deck of five vibrant Proofpoint-inspired colors, and a sleek, minimalist design, CINCO is easy to pick up, impossible to put down and fun for marketers and non-marketers alike (sales folks will like it, too)!

The deck contains 95 brilliant cards, printed in the USA, on a crisp and glossy cardstock, and comes in its own custom-printed box.

Players take turns matching a card in their hand with a card shown on top of the discard pile, either by color, by number or by symbol.

If you can’t make a match, you must draw a card from the central pile.

Included in each colorway is a Proofpoint Pop Quiz card, featuring a marketing-related question. The player who draws it or has it in their hand can challenge any player to answer the question with five qualifying responses within 10 seconds or less. If unsuccessful, they must draw five cards from the pile. If successful, the challenger draws five cards.​

Special action cards deliver game-changing moments and help you to defeat your opponents! These include Skips, Reverses, Draw Two, Draw Five and Wild Cards.

Don’t forget to shout CINCO! The first player to rid themselves of all the cards in their hand, before their opponents, wins!

Meet the artist:
Scott Sugiuchi

Scott has been designing and illustrating for over 25 years with award-winning agencies as creative director, partner or founder, including Backbone Design, Vibranium, Eisner Communications and Exit 10.

He’s been recognized by The One Show, Communication Arts, Print, HOW, Rolling Stone, Addys, and AdWeek as well as featured on Sirius/XM, WFMU, WTMD and the CreativeHOW podcast.

In addition to his work as a creative director, Scott is also an accomplished musician. He founded the boutique record label Hidden Volume Records in 2014 and has released work by artists like Satan’s Pilgrims, the Kurt Baker Combo and the DTs, among others.
